“A very powerful cordless drill with an in car charger – a great feature, making it the best cordless drill in it’s class”
Ok, so here we have the DCD930VX from the Dewalt stable of cordless drills, the is a 14.4 volt model and is a very versatile piece of kit, we found it well able to drill into most materials we tested – wood, brick, plywood ect as well as plastics and metals. The battery in this drill is a 14.4 volt model with extended run time, this gives you 325 watts of total power – which is a nice amount.
You get a total of three operating speeds, 0-425, 0-1200 and 0-1800 RPM so you get plenty of variation and the cordless drill will have a suitable speed for whatever job you are doing, you also get a decent hammer action – up to an amazing 30000 beats per minute – which is enough to punch your way through even concrete like a pro.
A special feature of the DSC930VX is a in car charger – a really useful addition for the tradesman, enabling him to charge the drill fully whilst driving to the jobsite – we loved this feature. Other useful features of this cordless drill are it’s elegant design – it is a T handle model and is very finely balanced, you also get a 22 position clutch for fine control when screw driving, we were particularly impressed by the drive train of the DCD930VX – it is all metal in construction and is very well made and is sure to last you for many years, other notable features are the two batteries supplies with the kit as well as Dewalt’s iron clad three year warranty – all in all a great deal.
